Here at Crypton we’re huge fans of Cesar Millan, a.k.a. The Dog Whisperer of National Geographic Channel fame. So it’s a huge thrill to see our outdoor dog bed featured in the September 2010 issue of the fabulous Cesar’s Way magazine!

This issue is all about Doggie Makeovers, so there’s plenty of bow-wow beauty inspiration from cover to cover. But our favorite story is “From Scruff to Puff,” spotlighting the Humane Society of New York, which does such wonderful work in rehabilitating homeless dogs and unleashing their inner beauty.

Doggie makeovers are not all about grooming, although baths and clip jobs certainly do play a big part in the process. Veterinary TLC and supplements also help shelter dogs shine – and so do creature comforts, which allow the dogs to relax so they’ll show their happiest face to potential adopters.

We were especially touched by the story of Osiris, a senior pit bull mix with osteoarthritis who enjoys taking sun baths in the shelter’s rooftop play area. Osiris catches his rays in style, reclining on a Crypton outdoor bed which takes pressure off his joints. Just check out his happy smile!
